The Alameda Warming Shelter is designated to be a warm, safe and respectful place for homeless persons to get out of the cold and rainy weather. The shelter will be open on nights when the weather is forecast to be 40 degrees or colder or rain is predicted. Guests will be provided with dinner, a place to sleep and breakfast. The Warming Shelter is a project of Building Futures, and the City of Alameda, and is hosted by Christ Episcopal Church.
